“We stand, as it were, on the shore, and see multitudes of our fellow beings struggling in the water, stretching forth their arms, sinking, drowning, and we are powerless to assist them.” — Felix Adler.
Mirrors for the lucky few of us come with provision of making us look better from outside. Scrap the other side and look out of the comfortable glass palace to come face to face with the harsh realities of our society. The reflection of the things outside percolated inside a few students of IIIT Hyderabad who questioned their contribution to the society and thus sparkled “SAMVEDANA” in the first leg of 2009, earlier as an idea though but now slowly molding as a statuette for the society and world outside to take notice.

Every big endeavor starts with something small…
a) Spreading Awareness:
Samvedana believes in involving micro-donors in huge numbers regularly apart from the big donors who donate huge donations because doing this would spread awareness about the plight of the less privileged.
b) Micro donations :
Want to donate something for a needy but skeptical about the amount??
The cornerstone of Samvedana is “Microdonations” with a strong belief that regular donations irrespective of the amount are pivotal for our sustainability as well as the sustainability of the any NGO we intend to adopt. Every penny that is donated is of utmost value to Samvedana and will be put to good use to bring a change in someone’s life.
c) Credibility
Faith is the force of life. ~Leo Tolstoy~
The Samvedana team comprises several students and friends who have volunteered to give their time, energy and resources to the organization. We hope to include as many people as we can as time progresses. Student force is one of the biggest strengths of our nation and we want to tap into that energy and channelize it towards a social cause.
Samvedana Needs Just One More Thing: YOU!
