Call for web developer volunteers for Team-Samvedana

Samvedana is an online web-platform which strives to bring together the two parties – the benevolent (donors and volunteers) and the benefactors. In addition to it, we are also funding the education of 12 kids and are acting as their guardians in every possible manner. http://team-samvedana.org/blog/request-donations-support-childs-education

To host this web-platform is not an easy task.

Request for donations to Support child's education

Team-Samvedana is very happy to share with you the fact that a small initiative taken by us last year, of funding three students' education, has now spread its wings further and that we are now trying to pitch in for 12 students of different age groups. Please find the details tabulated below:

Benevolence begins at home

Before I begin to officially share the experiences of the team from the past ten months, at a personal level, it doesn’t feel right to term anything we do as “charity” or “benevolent” deeds when we are accounting them publicly! Nevertheless, considering this only as a place where we share our experiences with a hope to conjure up a sense of Samvedana (empathy) and not as a place where we glorify our minisculer contributions, I proceed forward.

IIIT-H and Vastrasamman

Suraksha is a group aiming to spread the awareness about the cloth donation and forming collection campaign. With an aim to inspire and involve the students from different walks of life, this group which laid its roots in IIIT-Hyderabad and is now aiming to spread to many other institutes both in and around Hyderabad and outside.

Ashakiran in News

The continous and patient efforts shown by our friends and juniors have been recognized and Ashakiran is in news yet another time. Find out more about Ashakiran here http://ipis.iiit.ac.in/ashakiran/index.html

The news article is attached.

Cheers to each and every person involved in it and truly hoping for many more such initiatives..

If he can see God in his Blind parents, then why can't I?If he can see God in his Blind parents, then why can't I?

I was enjoying my college life, doing BC at coffee shop, watching movies and series of TV serials, playing games, visiting home after every two months and making plans for the next visit during classes. Then one day, one of my friends asked me to come to the Samvedana presentation. I was not interested in going, but don’t know which force inside pushed me and on the given day, I found myself in room no. 119 at 3:00pm.
