The website is crisp and clear in the content and interface.
These are a few things I think would make it look better.
1) In the NGO's Section, we are listing all of them under this "http://team-samvedana.org/ngos" this URL. So if a user is searching for an NGO in a particular area/location he has to open all the NGO's in different tabs and then check if the NGO is present in an area near to him.
My suggestion is to put just the "AREA=Malakpet" (present in this url = http://team-samvedana.org/ngo/aadarana) in the NGO's list tab itself. Hope my point is clear.
2) It would be great if we can integrate google maps to our website. I don't know how easy and feasible it is. But adding google maps will be a great value addition to our website.
3) It would good if we can show just the NGOs name and it's area in a separate web page. This makes user interaction easy. This web page should only contain NGO-AREA list and nothing more in a tabular form.
My point is, if we can reduce the number clicks a user has to go through to find the information he is looking for, it would better and much more useful to public.
1) Logo of samvedana can be present 2) Search across the ngos and ngo tagging can enhance the user experience. Tagging ngo's can be based on area, requirement etc..
Thanks you for the feedback. The following the plans for improvement:
NGO+Area listing:
The plan is create a block displaying NGO names grouped by Area. This will be available on front page, occupying the entire breath of the page at the bottom. As the number of NGOs increase, we can have a tag cloud or so of areas instead. A separate page full of just NGO names and areas would be very useful. Perhaps this should contain the location based search as well.
Google Maps and location search:
We already have Google maps integrated to the site. This is used for selecting the exact location on the map (lat/long) of each center of an NGO. There is also a (not very useful) search available based on a given location and radius of search http://team-samvedana.org/search/location. Plan is to get it working for locating NGOs. Also, showing a map of the centers of an NGO on the NGO page is planned. More ideas to make use of maps are welcome.

Coming soon.
NGO tagging:
Most of the data stored in an NGO is stored as separate fields which can be used for searching/sorting operations. I don't know if tagging them in addition to this will be required. I shall explore this idea further.

Everything else seems to be very good.
