ABHIPRAY’ is an organisation which doesn’t claim to achieve big things. It has no tall claims and no high goals. But it has the desire to try sincerely and truthfiily in the right direction. It knows the enormity of problems and its little strength but what is wrong in trying. Abhipraay has not roped in big names and personalities because all established people want status-quo and no change though they cry from the roof-tops for changes. It is an organisation for underdogs and by underdogs.

It is not an action group but opinion builder. It would like to call spade a spade and tell simple truth. It wilt have no alignment with fixed ideologies and schools of thought, no inclination towards this or that personalities, caste, community, sex, race etc. It is neither pro-establishment nor anti-establishment. It will be absolutely impartial, fearless and people oriented. Freedom of speech will be used not seeing the face of the person or situations but the merit of the case. It will try to build up public opinion for building up a better society and greater nation.

1. System building :

Systems have shown cracks everywhere in politics, in society, in economy, in culture, in sports, in governance etc., Individuals take precedence over system leading to hero-worship. Hero-worship is the main enemy to democracy and human dignity. Social relationships, political institutions, economic infrastructure and regulatory mechnasim, system of governance and cultural ethos have shown down trends. A system defined procedure is to be created.

2. Mode of Governance :

Indifference, inefficiency, corruption, lack of helpful attitude, politeness and lack of sense of service mark our mode of governance. Unless the loopholes in systm are plugged, it can’t work with the full steam. Poor masses suffer a lot because of indifference in governance despite all lofty goals of socio-economic a rid political development.

3. Freedom of Speech :

None has real freedom of speech; not even the press. The mass media is either controlled by Govt. or business houses. The editors and correspondents are changed when they don’t follow the suit. There is no forum where masses can voice their opinion. All organised opinion groups like political parties, clubs, trade-unions are controlled by a handful of persons who develop vested interests overtime. Real freedom of speech is missing.

4. Safety and security of life :

This is the basic ingredient and requirement of a dignified human life. Police needs the most immediate and urgent attention. All fundamental rights, socio-economic and cultural development are meaningless unless people are assured of fearless atmosphere to live in and security to life and property. We are of the view that the breaking law and order situation and all pervasive socio-eeonomic problems and corruption can be arrested by the police within a time frame provided the necessary reforms are carried out and the police are given wherewithal. If the society has to survive and grow, it has to reform its police and regulatory mechnaism first.

5. Grievance redressal & Justice :

Judiciary, the mainstay of grievance-redressal mechanism, is very costly, cumbersome and time consuming. Its procedure can be exploited by powerful and moneyed elements. There must be a people - based grievance-redressalmechanism.

To achieve above objectives, we are running a ‘Helpline’ system to help the people in distress and save them from any kind of injustice. ABHIPRAAY has the desire to use the good offices of the press and the judiciary in helping the people.
